Default Exaust Q (again :-) )

OK, I know this has been propably asked 1000 times, and yes I did search on "Exaust", but didnt find anything specific.

So, here'e my question, which exaust gives most HP gain?
I dont care about noise, price or single or dual.
Thanx,
Brad

Depends on whos butt dyno you belive. Amuse Ti gives one of the better gains but it's still minimal considering your cost (nice looking and light though ).

Bank on about 5HP +/- for most of the better exhausts.

You might do better to do a search on "dyno" and see what the people are putting down if you want to get that picky. Also there is a great compilation of s2k exhaust on a website that I unfortuneatly don't have the link to..

You should consider placing these type of questions in "S200 Talk".

If you continue to poke around, you will no doubt find that there is basically no intake/header/exhaust combination that will do squat for your peak HP number. King Motorsports even tried it and got like 10 HP out of a $5k+ investment. I have seen a dyno for a header that increased midrange HP by a little, but still nothing at peak. All you're going to get out of an exhaust is: a) lighter weight, b) more noise, and c) more bling.

If you want HP, buy a supercharger or turbo.
