Heres's one for the board,
I had an RM racing exhaust on my S2k and the car was rear ended on tuesday of this week, destroying the exhaust system.(not to mention my bumper cover)
as i understand it RM Racing no longer makes an exhaust for the car, meaning that i will have to go with another brand

any suggestions?

Do any of then produce more HP or is it just a question of sound? I have read on this board that some of the exhausts actually make you lose power, and thats the last thing i want to do!

i recieved $1300 from the insurance company for this

They all dyno similarly. If I was replacing my exhuasts, I'd go with the HKS. They make the S2K sound like a racecar (ask krazik), the Comptech is much throatier (ask SilverSurfer). I have not heard any singles, so I can't help you out there.

On the two I mentioned however; the dyno results show a teeny tiny horsepower loss, but a bit better torque curve. You might still be able to find krazik's results/charts from the dyno day in this forum.

Silver,

How was the RM exhaust? Sound, finish quality, performance (if noticeable)? The product looks great on their website, but I want to hear your opinion. Also, which generation did you have? I beleive the latest one came out about3-4 months ago. When did you buy yours?

I have the HKS Hiper and I LOVE the sound. It looks sharp too...bullet-like mufflers. Very very cool. The fit was absolutely perfect and I am very very pleased with it all the way around. I felt a little low end kick after I put it on...but that could have been the sound of the cash that I just dropped on it. I don't know...

But I am one satisfied customer...maybe Giampiero is going to do another GB on them? Hmmm...
