Default Exhaust

I will eventually be replacing exhaust on the car, but I am trying to find the best solution. It seems to me the only way to get any real HP gaines is by switching to a single. However, I love the look of the dual exhuast tips. Heard of anyone with a single on one side and a falsey on the other to maintain the dual look?

the s2k isnt very restrictive at all therefore the only reason to get an aftermarket is for sound and weight reduction

Although a single will free up a few ponies on a dyno you have to ask yourself if it is worth the earplugs you will need, as most singles tend to be very loud, and do you like the look of a single? If your not worried about a few HP then go with a dual that sounds/looks good and still weighs less than stock.

Hmm...I've personally heard them both (since I own one of them ) and have ridden in one with an Invidia, but it was on the track so I wasn't paying that much attention. I would have to say that the Invidia is probably a little quiter.

It also has a different note to it, where my JIC has that gurgly sound to it, the Invidia has a deeper tone.

The T1R 70 is loud, but is the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard in person on a 4 cylinder. There is nothing annoying or ricey about it. It has a resonator that really helps with the deep tone. There is little to no droning in the cabin and the car produces a VERY deep solid tone from idle to about 4k. After that it turns into a monster at VTEC.

It is also deeper than any of the other duals I've heard at low rpms. When I first started it up, my friend said it sounded like a subwoofer!

Thanks. That's the kind of review I am looking for.
