I'm personally quite fond of the invidia, I got to hear a few HKS's and to be honest I'd rather be stock than HKS, it just sounds a little louder than stock. The invidia is in a class all of it's own though! I keep the silencer in, too. it doesn't look that bad but still sounds amazing and i still get to keep my ears.

I have the Invidia and love it, but I may need to go with a Fujitsobo b/c I do get tired of all the attention the Invidia attracts...

+1. Also one of the welds on the "Invidia" name plate connecting the Y-pipe broke, so it rattles. Quick fix at a muffler shop but a pain in the ass nonetheless.

HKS + TP [/thread]

HKS looks small and puny? Much bigger than that and you're looking at those sewer pipes from Pep Boys.

If you think the HKS is just a tad louder than stock, you need to listen to it again my friend.
I can't imagine having a louder exhaust than my HKS.
It'll drive me nuts.

to OP;
when it comes to exhaust, it all boils down to what your preference is.
I don't think there's such thing as which is better and which is not.
I've heard that the HKS doesn't gain any power, but didn't see a single proof that it loses power.
I'm very satisfied w/ my HKS.
Good luck!

Dan

no opinion here but just a suggestion:
if you're going to pick up an exhaust, i'd recommend looking in a local forum or the 'for sale' section. there are lots of people who have the money to switch exhausts and that's where it can benefit you. you can seriously save some dough when buying used.
