Have WD-40 or some other lubricant to loosen up the bolts on the stock exhaust. Those can be a pain to get undone. It should take you an hour tops, it's really pretty easy. Good luck.

It helps if you have a friend.

Read up in the "how to" section in the "Under the hood" forum. It was really helpful . Yes, it shouldn't take more than an hour. Be generous with SOAP on the rubber hangers, and don't use the WD40 for that, it deteriorates rubber.

This should also go without saying, but get the car up on proper jackstands anytime you're working underneath it.

30 minutes easy

get some wd40 for the bolts and hangers (they slide much easier lubed), get a buddy to help, short screwdriver to pry at hangers, and safetly glasses.

Agree with the hour estimate up top. I will warn you that the stock exhaust is heavier than it looks so be prepared.

Definitely having an extra set of hands helps a lot. I forgot to mention that the first time.

bah you guys must know what you are doing to get it competed in 30min!

The first time I ever changed an exhaust system was when I installed my invidia. What a pita it was. Coupled with it being cold outside, not having the right sized tools, and stripping the bolts....it took us a grand total of around 3-4 hours haha.

Make sure you have the right sized tools, you have liquid wrench for the bolts, and you have a nice long breaker bar for those damn rusted bolts.

its pretty difficult since its a dual exhaust--there's a set of rubber hangers on each side, so it makes it complicated when you try to take off one side at a time. the bolts that bolt on to the cat are extremely hard to take off, and it's hard to get good leverage since the car is so low (very little space between the ground and the bolts). use a box end wrench for best leverage. don't waste time with a ratchet like i did. it was also pretty hard for me to unbolt the rail that holds in the part of the exhaust closest to the back.

Is it fairly easy to do a single? And how would the install be if I do it alone?

I did my dual alone, first time ever doing a S exhaust, and it took me under 1 hour. I had only the rear tires on ramps, I used PB Blaster on the cat bolts, and I used dishsoap to lubricate the rubber hangers. A single exhaust would be even easier.
