Default Exhaust observations

Well, I have been living with my "new to me" Amuse exhaust now for about a week. Today when I went out for a drive I thought to myself, the exhaust is sounding quieter today.

Many on the board have commented that their exhausts mellowed with age.

This exhaust was used for about six months on another S2KI members car. I know that while it looked like new, that it was well broken in.

Do we just get used to the noise and think its quieter? Are we going deaf?

That could be my problem as well as I'm mostly going deaf in my right ear.
