Default Exhaust Question

Is there an exhaust system out there that gives Formula 1 car sound???

I know that sound comes from 18.000 rpm (just like in race bikes) but I know that Remus had a Universal Muffler called the Villeneuve Edition that made a Formula 1 car sound but it is no more in production.

I also know that there is a company called Kreisseig (in Japan I guess) that makes exhaust systems that have F1 Mode. They cost around $5000-$10000 for the system though and they don't have a system for S2000. (Like I would buy it for that price )

Anyways, are there any other companies that have this kind of exhaust??

PS: I will post the link for Kreisseig Exhaust Sound Clips link on the Gallery

As you said,18000 rpm,and V-12,V10,V-8 now, sound will be hard to duplicate.
IMO,the nicest one is Supersprint, but too pricey for me.
I have a Comptech,coming in.!!!

If you want sound clips, record the F1 race or qualifying this weekend. Sounds like the new Honda engines can hit 22,000 rpm. That should be interesting. Qualifying starts in a few hours (early sat. morning).

There is a lot more to it than just the exhaust. I'm sure you could make one somewhat resemble it though, to what extent you'd have to R&D is unknown. Some s2k exhausts already sound sporbike'ish', I'd get sound clips of those and work something out. It isn't too crazy to want a particular sound out of your car, the biggest reasons people become suckers to ferrari's is that very element.

Invidia sounds like a drilled soda can...only because it was cheap and 40% of the forum have one (and thats why more and more people go for it) ,it does not make it sound any better.
Here in Dubai only one guy had it and BOTH of the tips fell off. It sounded like mad rice since it was new...guess why he sold it.
I don't know about F1, but a HKS dual comes as close to a Ferrari 360 as it gets from a 2000cc fourbanger...does not make any power, but you asked for sound.
