Default Exhaust question and other parts

Hello All,

I'm sure this question has been answered many many time before. I am interested in putting an exhaust system in my 2005 S2000. When I first got the car, Comptech was the way to go, especially to maintain the dual exhaust. I have researched and now I see that there are other companies that make a dual exhaust. I'm looking for an exhaust that doesn't sound like those on civics and accords and other rice rockets...preferrably I'd to put an exhaust that has a nice deep sound with minimal cabin noise ( I know that there will be a certain level of db increase no matter what).

Secondly, does anyone one know where I can find clear side markers?

Thanks all

www.ricks2k.com sells the side markers.

The Mugen exhaust is one of quietest exhausts available. Fujitsubo and Supersprint are also fairly quiet but louder than stock. If it's a single outlet exhaust or has a giant sized tip, chances are it's going to be louder than you want.

Regardless of which system you decide on ,it won't sound like a Civic or an Accord.

Like you, I originally wanted Comptech. I thought about it though and the logical choice for this car would be to buy exhaust for the sound, since most systems produce minimal horsepower gains. Yes, some get good numbers, but not any that you would consider cause they're single and VERY loud. Anyway, many people here would agree with me in saying that the HKS Hi-Power is one of the best-sounding exhaust systems for the S2K. I just bought it and it should be here on Thursday

The Mugen and the Toda Racing exhausts are both really nice. The Toda has the turn down "dolphin" tips. Some people like them some don't. They both give you pretty good weight savings and have a nice sound.
