Default Exhaust tips stolen !!

WTF?

Has this happened to anyone else? I never took the time to see how they were on there, what held them on, but they certainly didnt just fall off!

One screw on each. Watch out for price gougers when you get new ones. www.handa.com/ has them.

Someone has to be really bored to steal someones sooty exhaust tips. If I were you I'd put them on with a torx bolt or just have an exhaust shop weld them on.

If you wanted to be mean just run an electrical lead to each tip and if anyone touches them, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaapp!

Email Trevor at H and A (get email off the site above). I paid about $50 each from the dealership when mine were damaged a long time ago...I would expect Trevor's price to be cheaper.

Gold tips are stolen more often, don't get em.

As for theft prevention, use a screw instead of a bolt, then grind down the philips socket with a dremel tool. Leave enough material so you can grind a flat slot later to get it off if you have to.
