i have a spugen, but did not dyno...
it feels stronger- the estimate that i was given was about 5+ h.p.
i think that spugen is doing some testing, so you might check with them-

Go with no exhaust- just straight pipes out the side like a Top Fuel Dragster!!!

From my exp:

Amuse Dual = 8hp
Spugen single = 7hp

This is from dyno at UL's with baseline comparisons....

For the bang for the bucks, Spugen sure have the advantage.

it is really relative to what your car has. If you have something like a turbo or supercharger an exhaust will make a whole heck of a lot of difference running a 2.75 section compared to a 2.5 or 2.25 section. If you are looking for a dual setup i would highly recommend the Amuse R1 Extra Titan. We just concluded a GB of 5 members that were willing to shell out $1850 a piece per unit. They are full Titanium, the Amuse exhaust is one of the best exhausts for the S2000. If you are looking for a single setup, i would choose either a Spoon N1 or a Speed N1. They are around $600 and provide decent power increases. I could suggest the amuse R1 single but its still $1850 for a single setup

Here is a brakedown
Dual
Amuse =5HP

Single
Amuse=6-8
Apexi= 5
Spoon=5-7
Speed N1=5-7
