I don't want loud, or huge, I want as close to OEM as possible, but still give me better performance. Nothing cheap- I went cheap with my last car... lesson learned.

I'm looking to spend $500 - $600 max on exhaust. I like Inexpensive, but i am willing to pay for quality.

SuperSprint?

Soundclip

Its expensive but it looks great, sounds good (not overly loud, no loud droaning), weighs about 30 lbs (stock is 50 lbs), and shows a small gain in whp (about 3whp).

Maybe you can find it used. I got it used for around what you're looking to spend.

I guess I'll chime in here since I just got my exhaust installed this week. Everyone will probably vote for what they have, so I'll do the same. I am running an Amuse Dual R1 Extra Titan with the full blue finish, and I have to say it is the most impressive exhaust I have seen. It is beautiful just to look at, and it only weighs 14 pounds! It has a nice sound to it as well, not bleeding from the ears loud, but a nice step up from stock. I am very happy with it. The only problem is it takes about three months to get one, and they cost about 4 times what you are budgeting. I have heard, and seen some of the others, that have been mentioned in this thread too, and I can't say that any of them are bad, you would probably be happy with any of the exhausts mentioned above. Good luck!

It's kinda hard to find an Exhaust for the S in that price range, but you could maybe check the for sale section and pick up a good used comptech. They make 3hp and it's lighter without a loud sound. If you want to stick with new, then you might want to consider just switching out the mufflers at a shop. Maybe go with a magnaflow (seems to be popular). Any decent muffler shop can just replace your OEM mufflers with some nice aftermarket ones for exactly what you're looking to pay. Not to mention that Honda already did a nice job with the piping for the exhaust so it's doubtful that a cat back in that price range would do better.

SuperSprint is the S***! They make incredible stuff for every car. I'd jump on the exhaust real quick. I wish a I had a couple of extra dollars lying around or i'd be all over his offer.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough ... I recently bought my exhaust used for about the same price that Evilkittie wants to spend. I'm not planning on selling it anytime soon though!

Search the for sale forum in S2KI. There's always someone that's selling an exhaust because they want another one.
