Babies go in the trunk...thats what the little sunk in section is for. It's like a playpen for them and keeps their toys and bottles in one place.

s2000 is a very safe car, but I would not place an infant in the s2000.

Come on how many of us grew up in cars without even seat belts let alone safety seats?

Depends what era you were born in. I'm 23, so all the family cars growing up had seat belts. As kids my brother and I had to sit in the back with the seat belts on. I'm going to do the same thing for my kids when I have them.

I have had my kids in car seats with me in both my old miata and the S2000. They love it and get time with me.

Honestly folks worry to god damn much these days. Is the kid strapped in properly? Are you driving like a responsible adult? If you can answer yes to both questions then have by all means, spend the time with the kids.

If you can not disable the airbag, you would be a FOOL to put a child in a car seat in an S IMO.

put a manual switch in to turn the air bag off and it's perfectly fine. same as a child in a jeep wrangler, strap em in good and go like mentioned 06+ has the sensor (why do you think honda decided to do this anyway...)

*child needs to be atleast 1 year of age so he/she can use a forward facing seat.
