Default experts come in

I currently watch some video tips, found that most of AP2 they can shift after rmp reached to 9000. But when I was testing on the road, the gear goes off when it reached red line which is at 8000. what the hell going on with my car? or do I need to mortify some part to achieve that function.

2.0 motor revs to 9,000 RPM and in North American S2000's it was run in 2000-2003 models. In 2004 North America got the AP2 with a larger motor that can only rev to 8,000 RPM's - Japan did not change its original AP1 motor, but did get every other change the AP2 came with.

9,000 is a no-no in an AP2 here in the States.

If you are shifting to 9000 rpm in your ap2 your totally wrecking it or hitting the limiter and wrecking it more
only jdm ap2's have the f20 in it that revs to 9K

9000 is no no for sure.

exactely man..

well, I tested last night when there were slightly few cars on the road. and i got rev 9000 at 2 gear, but it extremely goes off after i reach over 8000.

conclusion; I believe it can rev at 9000 over 2nd gear, but may be it's not good for the engine.

anyone has same experiance?

I got one more question: how can i achieve 100km/h by shift at 2 nd gear? cuz as long as it can goes, it ends up with 96/97km/h in my car.
