extended warranty
Just make sure that when you narrow down your choices, to get a written copy of the actual warranty document and read it over CAREFULLY. Probably will be around 10 to 12 pages long. I went through this procedure when my last gf wanted to get an extended warranty for her Subaru Outback. The last thing we did was go through all the fine print; when we finished reading the disclaimers carefully, we decided it didn't cover enough of the car to justify its cost.
check out www.bankrate.com for an interesting article on the pros and cons of purchasing an extended warranty from either the manufacturer or third party. It was a link today on their homepage. If it's no longer on their homepage, you will need to do a search.
I just spoke to my sales guy and he wants 1495 for 7/100 with 0 deductable . My only issue is if they will cover even if I have a SCer . He's going to let me know tommorow (kind of skeptical about the price ) . It is a 01 with 26m .
