The exact same thing happened to me !!! I read about the secret compartment on HA-net (remember that site old timers ) while at work and ran out to my car. Sure enough, there was a nice little package in there consisting of my warranty info, the owners manual, secret code for the stereo, and an extra set of keys. The dealership had an owners manual on order for me too!!

 

my dealer did,...i went back there, and they didnt even know about it!!! Mine had the hard top though, and it was in the showroom for quite a while before i bought it, so no one really had the urge to start digging around in that tight space with the hardtop on!

 

Yeah, I was reading the manual at the dealership waiting for the financing guy to call me in and found the section on the secret compartment. I showed it to my sales-puke. He did not know about it.
