It looks like something I would get frustrated with working on. Congratulations.

Is the material the same as factory? How small does the window seem in person and from the inside of the cab?

the feel of the material feels exactly the same as my old OEM top. As for the size of the window, its the same size as my friends MY03 as far as I can tell...

i don't think you mentioned the time length it took. i went through the service manual the other day, just interested in the details, and it looked like a huge headache and the biggest pita that anyone could ever experience. how many hairs on your head turned grey during this event?
this parts the shocker...
took me over 20 work hours (yes i know average time was 6-8 hours).
Took me so long because I had to buy the tools and a drill.
And each step took me a lot longer than it should just because I was too scared to move on to the next step. At each step I would just look at my car saying "you're a complete idiot, that looks hella wrong, you should have just taken this to the shop..."

and to be honest, this is one of those projects where if you jus read the DIY threads it looks way to overwhelming. But if you read it WHILE doing the actual task side by side, its actually quite easy and goes together very well.

Im the PERFECT example of this, I am not "mechanicly inclined" nor considered "handy". I don't even own my own set of complete tool box. yet I did it. Just have common sense, and don't doubt how powerful a human brain can be.

you did a great job!! less wrinkles than mine haha. i forget to mentionto you that it would be easier to have it tinted before installing. less hassle on the tint person lol. overall it looks very clean but give it a wash and see if there are any leaks. the rear bar seems a lil too far up so it might cause wear and tear at that area. perhaps adding a piece of cloth or something that is less frictional between the top and the rear bar. i think it's too much trouble for you to take the top off again and adjusting the strap lol.

nahh i wasnt planning on tinting anyways. yeh i dont know what i might have done wrong with the strapping. i thought i followed all the instructions correctly... maybe my straps from walmart wasnt strong enough to hold the 3rd bar in place?

But thanks for your help brother, it helped.

What size rivets you guys use? I bought the top and they don't come with any.
Also where you guys buy them from?

Nice job. Your install is probably 100% correct. The difference in the rear bar is because the frame for 00-01 is not the same as 02+.
