F***ing SHady!
well last night i parked my car infront of this game place late nite, and an hour or 2 later my friend tells me my hood and fender is messed up... i run outside and start to panic b/c i jus bought it like a month ago and i call my insurance company but they are not picking up.. i think itss b/c of the holidays... the damages are crucial, my left hood has dents and scratches, left fender has a big hole and my left headlight glass is cracked... I AM SO PISSED.... u guys think my insurance company will cover?? i have farmers
Yourinsurance will go up. Did you file a police report? They may ant to try and say you hit something and raise your rates even more. The cops will be able to verify that someone hit you and not the other way around. Did you call the police to the scene? They would have seen debris from the other vehicle.
No your insurance will not raise....you need to file a police report and contact your insurance company....it will be placed under collision and you will have to pay your collision deductable, but it won't raise your rates...
Actually, I think the rule is if it is classified as a comprehensive claim (e.g. theft, vandalism, etc.) then they can't raise your rates but if it is classified as a collision claim then it is possible for them to raise your rates but I could be wrong since your case is somewhat unique.

You definitely should have called the police. If you did, then you insurance will not go up because of that(they say) and they will have to cover it. Your deductible for something like this is usually less than if you had an accident and were at fault.
If you didn't call the police, you may be out of luck. Also, I'm sure your local office is closed, however, I'd be willing to bet that your company has a 1-800 number to handle "off" hour accidents.
Good luck. I had mine hit at the TPC at Avenel during a PGA tournament. No note; no nothing.

whoever thinks that an insurance company won't raise your rates is a bit off... They're in it to make money not to be your pal in a time of need, hope you don't buy into all those commercials. Also if your rates go up when its time to renew and they say its a national rate raise would you think it was because of your claim?
