They come with two key fobs (and two keys plus a valet key) but they are not alarms, just remote door lock & trunk controls.

The Honda alarm is a dealer-installed option,

 

Do most people get any type of alarm installed?

Since it sort of pertains, what's the small red, flashing light on the radio (anti-theft) refer to? Does that just mean the radio won't work if stolen due to the code?

I probably answered my own question. But if somebody else was wondering, I won't feel dumb.

yes I have the blinking red light too but don't know what it does.

Early on when I had my car, I climbed into the driver's seat with the top down without using the doors, keys still in my hand.....the car horn started blasting till I inserted the key...

still dunno to this day as the manual is in Japanese....

 

Don't know what most people do but mine is going in for a paging alarm system this week, thinking Viper 5900 with backup battery and radar sensor. No need for seat locks IMO, the alarm should be as good a deterrent.

 

No alarm on 07. I dont think it's even a dealer option past 05 (i could be wrong on that).

as far as the blinking red light, thats for the radio.

I don't mind spending money for an alarm, but just the idea of a shop tearing her apart to install the alarm (things rattle, etc).
