I'm a S2K owner headed to Tokyo on a business trip on Tuesday. Even though my program is pretty full, I was wondering if anyone out there knows if factory tours are possible at the Takanazawa plant in Tochigi for "regular" people like myself.

If not, if there are anything else that's a "must see" for S2K owners in the Tokyo area, let me know.

 

I believe you can have a tour of Honda Tochigi R&D Center and Twin Ring Motegi.

I heard Twin Ring Motegi here are some go-kart game and race game, that you can rent NSX, TYP-R models.

Sorry I have no idea about the detail like how much or do you need appointment.

if I remember correctly, there are even a shopping center with restaurants in Twin Ring Motegi.

the entire area is like a DisneyWorld of Race cars, F1.

 

We did both when we were in Japan last summer. BTW, Takanezawa isn't a quick trip outside of Tokyo, I seem to remember that it took more than 90 minutes (but I was so jetlagged, I could be wrong) each way.

When you get there, they have tours that they lead. You won't be able to use your camera inside, but you can get your brain and eyes full of some seriously cool stuff in there!

Be sure to visit the Honda Fun Fan Museum at Twin Ring... it's a cool thing to see! Asimo rocks!
