Default Faint smell after washing engine

As I mentioned in a post earlier, my oil cap came loose and some oil spilled out. Today I went out to get some S100 motorcycle cleaner and it cleaned everything under my hood very well. Then I thoroughly rinsed everything with a nose. But now I am getting a faint smell from the engine. Seems like water vapor with a slight burnt smell to it. Anyone else had this before?

Just some residual cleaner that you missed or dripped to the underside of the engine. It'll be fine in a couple days.

Directly spraying your engine with a hose probably isnt the best idea... I have a friend who took his car to a car wash one time. He opened the hood, sprayed the engine bay, then got back in his car only to find it wouldn't start because he had gotten some water or moisture in his distributor. Doh!
