Default Fair price for 2008?

Hi, I'm new to the s2ki and looking to get into a S. I've only been looking for 2 weeks or so and a 2008 came available in my vicinity. It's GPW and has only 7,500 mi. A private seller is asking $29,500 and is unwilling to negotiate further. Do you think this is a fair price? The car is in great condition (not a scratch). I would appreciate any input to decide whether or not I should keep looking for a better price. Thanks

I'd say it's a little on the high side but it is the most wanted color (GPW) and pretty much brand new so I wouldn't be surprised if he sold it for asking price.

The premium price is for the low miles. This is very close to full price when new in '08. Someone will probably pay it because it is essentialy a brand new car. Personally, I would look for something with a few more mile and a little cheaper. Your call

You will find on S2ki - in general any price is too high, unless a member is selling their car and then they will ask super high prices and think it is worth every penny.

A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If it is what you want and you can afford it, it is a good deal for you. Location makes a huge impact on price.

Thanks for the input so far. I'm thinking I'm going to go for it. I'm very meticulous and it will be almost impossible to find one in better condition.

i dont think the price is bad .... you're not going to find a newer car with less miles so you're paying a premium for that (which is justified)

KBB might be less or more ... but I dont think KBB applies to rare cars like 2008 flawless ones with less than 8k miles.

GPW is not worth more money apart from on here --

That could change depending on your location.

I would disagree with that...I looked for over 6 months and made a pretty huge excel spreadsheet of all the listing for the four colors I was considering for 2003's all across the country (GPW, SSM, NFR, BB)...GPW's were listed for on average a 5% price premium. I think GPW is definitely worth more if the owner knows that it's the rarest and arguably the most desirable color.
