I havent taken this car any higher than 111 mph & honestly dont feel a need to go anyone
However, just cause my friends are always wondering. What is the top speed of a Stock S? i hear 150, but not positive.

The Car has been tested many times for top speed on tracks by at least 5 different magazines. Every time they came out with almost exactly the same number 146 MPH. There was one road and track test that had 168 however they did not test top speed and just listed the top gear speed number. The car is drag and power limited not gearing. The new 04 had the highest published top speed I have seen listed at 149.

It was totally an accident, but once I hit 72mph on the freeway. Honestly, I didn't mean to go 2mph over! As for the lot of you... I'm speechless.

139 .....car only has 4k miles and will probably get faster with more miles. It was basically creeping a mph every few seconds so I backed off not to expose the engine to excessive abuse.

It's more abusive driving with less than 3 bars on the temp gauge, or 5min commuting every so often, than it is to top it out.
