Just get the Bilsteins like I said.

BTW, if you lower more than 1" that I am telling you to do, you wont ever go auto-x'ing b/c your times will be slower than stock. Your brakes and tires will also suffer.

You're better off lowering the car the way YOU want to, getting a decent-priced coilover (Bilstein all the way), not going "racing", and live with the decreased handling and stiffer ride.

I know I did.

well the adjustable bilsteins are out of my price range, that is just more than i want to pay.the megans look nice for the money and should be capable of adjusting to my needs whether it be street or auto x and still gimme the lower look i totally want more than performance.

My previous car was a fairly extreme H&R coilovered GTi that was nothing short of amazing in terms of everyday driving. It road very smoothly yet it still managed to handle to like nobody's business. The piston shafts on the H&R's were almost the size of my forearms. The car had awsome high speed stability and could eat up just about any midcorner bump you could throw at it. I can't say how the H&R's would fair on a Japanese car which seem to focus more on the Number#2 pencil sized piston shaft designs but I think it could benefit a little using the bigger ones. I know the skinner sized shafts help with transient response and accuracy but I just ain't digging on them.

Personally I feel the S2000 is way to skittish feeling in OEM form on most highways, especially at higher rates of speed. I find myself going far slower in this car on the same back road I used to scream down in the VW with H&R's on it.

Does anyone have any input on how they work for our cars?

But megan is'nt that reputable. You should know that top companies like Amuse and a few others go to Bilstein to make thier suspension setups. Who goes to "Megan" ? nobody.

Also, the basic Bilsteins are the same price.
