The change up from 3rd (8k+ rev) to 4th drops you so far
into the powerband it's silly

3rd for sure, with 2nd close. We spend most of our time in these two gears on the Dragon run in Asheville!

You will lose good 0.5 sec if you shift to 3rd before you reach 60mph in your 0-60mph sprint. You reach 60mph just before 8.3k revs so you'd be wasting a lot of power if you short shifted to 3rd from bellow 8.3k. That would land you at 6k revs in 3rd intested of 6.5 if you took it to 9k.

ps. My favourite gears are 2,3 and 4th as those are the gears I'm usually in when I'm faving 'fun' :-)

I hit 69 in second. It is a 70+ gear. A guy on here was talking about getting it to 74 by bumping on the rev limiter a few times....i wouldn't recommend it!
