Default Favorite S factors

I listed my favorite things about my newly acquired S. I, unlike many, did not buy the car for it's performance alone. Here's my list (not in any particular order):

1. Sexy body lines, stance, and exterior appearance
2. Roadster/ 2door, 2 seat convertible
3. Purity of purpose: essentially a race car that is street legal
4. Interior: Spartan, simple, purpose built
5. Performance: Handling, braking, acceleration, etc
6. Reliability and build quality: Honda engineering
7. Bargain price: Best roadster available under $50K
8. Rarety: Not your everyday car seen at every corner
9. Feel: Light but solid and stiff, amazing gearbox and steering, great seat positioning, etc
10. Excitement factor: Thrilling ride. Addictive. Can't wait to get back in it.
11. Attention getter. People stare. Don't have to drive fast to impress others.
12. Learning curve: You develop a relationship with the car and learn more and more each day about how to drive it better and its habits. I get bored with cars easily but this one seems different.
13. As is factor: For once, I've bought a car that I dont feel that I have to immediately mod. It is perfect as is. I'll probably find something in the future though.

There is probably more but I'll add later if anything comes up. I would have added the "chicks love it" factor but that doesnt apply to me because I'm taken. My little lady likes the car but prefered my recently departed (sold) bimmer more. Oh well.

Anywho, what is on your list?

Noisy. I hate quiet performance oriented cars. I want to know whats going on, and I can hear everything in the S

That is a good point. All those quiet so called sports cars are more like GTs in my opinion; not true sports cars. On the other hand, I don't like the sound of excessive exhaust noise either. I hate seeing all of those cars with the loud ass rice cans. I like to hear the sound of the engine over the sound of the exhaust. With a Dinan CAI, my bimmer made the sexiest sounds from that inline six.

That's a plus for sure!!!!

The looks on people's faces always give me a laugh cause it's a look like... "WTF is that? Never seen it before."

Another added... there's many but I only feel like writing one down right now... capable of take turns at corners, on-ramps, off-ramps, etc. about double the speed or more of everyone else. It's great for when you're late for work and you really don't want to slow down for a turn... hehe.

When the rear end gets loose it is much easier to catch than a mid engine car.

I have a MY02, these are my reasons in order:

1) 9,000 rpm
2) F-1/Indycar style dashboard
3) Honda reliability
4) drives good
5) looks good

Bottomline, it delivers the most bang for the money.
