i thought your questions was simple and i'm not sure how technical of an answer you wanted to receive. the simplest one is... most hondas/acura's have a vtec engine... when the car hits a certain rpm, it hits vtec... which is when that certain honda puts out the most power basically.
so our car i believe hits vtec at around 6k rpm... that's as simple as i can put it... but i'm sure someone will tell me i'm wrong or something like that?
