A buddy of mine just bought a new 05. After looking it over, I noticed that they didn't spray that black stuff in his fender wells. I've had it in both my S's and honestly hated it b/c it's not solid, it's rather sticky and screws up your rag if you wipe it, and it makes all the road grime and rocks stick to it.

Does everybody have this, did they stop doing this, or did they just forget his? His vin ends in a 4000 number while mine is mid 3000's.

 

Fenderweel liner are clean,black plastics.

 

Most of my liner is clean as well. However, in the upper back part, they sprayed the black stuff (almost like trunk bed liner, but not as hard or thick). Also in the back fender well, it's sprayed all on the front half and upper half.
