Default Fidanza flywheel

Is anyone here running the Fidanza lightened flywheel...........I'm very interested in getting one but would like to hear some feedback from anyone who have installed them on their car.
I've heard excellent reviews about the Toda flywheel (besides the fact that it can't be resurfaced) so I know that their products can be trusted but the Fidanza ones are about half the price of the Toda...........how good are these Fidanza flywheels?

I wasn't aware Fidanza made a flywheel for the S2000.

IMO, I would be real cautious buying a multipart flywheel for the 9000 rpm S2000. Aluminum flywheels have an attached friction surface that is either rivited on or bonded in some way and there is the potential to come apart at high rpms where the stresses are so great. There are reasons that Toda and Comptech make flywheels from steel in one piece, strength and durability.

I see your point.........but you gotta admit the price of the Fidanza flywheels are really cheap. I know Fidanza is an established company and they have been manufacturing flywheels for so many years........I'm sure they must have considered the durability of their flywheel for the S2000 at high rpms. I'm also a firm believer of the equation cheap/ reliable/ performs pick any 2.......which is why I'm a little hesitant with the Fidanza flywheel..........I'm sure there are a few guys here who are running those on their s2000. Anyone?

They weigh a mere 8lbs (lighter than the Spoon/comptech ones) and depending on who you buy it from the price range is $259-$351USD. They are aluminium with carbon/alloy steel friction surface so you can use it with any clutch disc material.

Watch out, because sometimes when they are too light, they will cause more problems

yeah too light would be a bad thing during city driving but the spoon and comptech ones are 9lbs and the Toda ones are 8lbs.....the stock ones are 15lbs. So basically the choices that are available for the S2000 are within 1lb of each other.....not much choice for lightened flywheel if you ask me. I did a search on this S2KI regarding Fidanza and I came upon this one incident where the flywheel was falling apart because it was a 2 piece flywheel!!!! So I've decided to go with the Toda ones.......1 piece flywheel, can't go wrong with that.
