Default Filling Up

i do have to say that 20 bucks to fill up the S isn't too bad considering that we use 93 and 94. cause people get 20 bucks of regular and doesn't fill it up. so we are actually pretty lucky

It is not how much it costs to fill the tank but how much your getting for the money.
The S2000's gas tank isn't as large as some vehicle. With your reasoning if you only needed 4 gallons to top off your tank, and you paid $20...$5/gal....you'd still be lucky!

24.00 dollars to fill up with two bars left = that sucks considering I have to fill up at least twice a week ( long to/from commute and a daily driver). Gas prices suck elephant ass 2.09 - 2.15 per gallon for 93 here in Clearwater, FL

You guys kill me.

I just paid 88.9 pence per litre for Shell Optimax (98 RON).

88.9p per litre = $1.63 per litre = $6.19 per US gallon

(<--- That makes me laugh!)

I hope you guys saw yesterday's St. Petersburg Times article which stated there will be a TEMPORARY but significant gas tax reduction during August in Florida.

Drive your little hearts out in August because the tax is going back up in September.

it all a matter of perspective. _SBradley_, think back about 10 years ago and try to remember what you were paying per liter back then. Once you have that figure, compare it to today's prices and imagine the price jumping from the low to the higher number in about 2 weeks. That is what we are experiencing over here.

Europe has traditionally had horrible gas prices and I apologize for those people, in charge, doing that to you. We have just been in this Pax Petrolus for so long, it is extremely unsettling to see our prices shoot upward so much so fast.

I agree - you guy's are just so lucky having reasonably priced gas - how would you feel if you had to pay the equivalent of $70 to fill your tank up?

(The UK probably has the most expensive fuel on the planet and its all tax, tax, tax, tax, tax, bl**dy tax .)

in a real (inflation adjusted) sense, gas prices are no where near their high in the US. The high is just under $3 per gallon in 2004 dollars.

OPEC is increasing production, so that will lower prices.
