I'm not really sure what you were hoping for when you encouraged the disrespect of someone's property, but I'd say whatever you got you deserved. Intellectual property aside, throwing a tantrum when you get called out and then making a big deal about leaving seems pretty juvenile and narcissistic.
People need to realize that just because you can see it doesn't mean you can take it and do whatever you want with it.
Thanks for your contribution, but I can't say I'm sad to see you go.
PS: how funny would it be if all the how-to crap you've done showed up somewhere with all the credits stripped out of it? I'd chuckle.
