Default Finally!!!

Well, after months (maybe even years) of yearning, I finally pulled the trigger on an S2000. I managed to find a brand new 2002 in the showroom of a dealership in north Jersey. Picked it up last night, and fell in love on my drive back down to Philly. I found myself driving around at 2:15 am last night. . . I am in trouble, I can't see myself getting ANY work done this week. . . lots of 2 hour lunches!

Sadly, though, I had to trade in my Integra GSR. . . but I'm sure I'll get over it in no time!

Glad I found this forum for ideas and advice on my new baby!

Yeah, and if you dont know how to do that, there is a sticky at the top of this forum on how to. BTW, how did you manage to get a New MY02?!? What kind of deal did you get since it's 2 years old already?

Congrats and be careful in the rain!!!

Thanks for the congratulations everyone. The car is Sebring Silver w/Red interior. I found the car at Planet Honda on Rt. 22 in NJ, which is a very, very large dealership (they have 4 2003's and 4 2004's on the lot right now). The 2002 was their showroom car, and I think they wanted to move it. I got it for $26k, which is a good deal (I hope).

I'll update my info tomorrow to reflect "Owner" status. Stupidly, I left all of my car info (like VIN #) in the car, which is garaged 6 blocks away. Too late for me to go over there now. I should probably be sleeping right now so I can be productive at work tomorrow. Somehow I resisted the urge to be driving until the wee hours of the morning again. This is the worst feeling ever. . . the want of driving versus the need for sleep.

That sounds like a great price if it is low mileage. Happy and safe driving!!!!

27 miles upon delivery. I think I've put close to 200 on it in less than 24 hours. I'll be using this car as a daily driver (and I travel a bit for work), so the miles will go by quickly. . . as long as the weather holds up and I don't have to rent a Subaru for the week.

Any suggestions on quality security systems? I want to alarm the car very soon.

Congratulations on the purchase happs22, sounds like you got yourself a good deal.

The S is a totally different car to an Integra (I had one a few years back too) - I'm sure you'll be more than happy with your decision.
