Default Finally got my s2!!

Well all, after 3 years of being an observer on this board, I can finally have the pleasure of owning a new s2000. I purchased the s2 on the 29th and have been absolutely ecstatic!! This car is my dream come true. Nothing but positives from friends, family, and strangers!! It is definitely a head turner and I couldn't be happier! I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who has helped me with questions and w/ dealer info, car info etc!! This board rocks!! Hopefully now, I can get the chance to meet some of you all!

One question that I did have...I just bought a new '02 with 12 miles on it...do any of the TSB Bulletins apply to this car? Should I take the car in to have those done? Just wondering...

Thanks

- Andrew

Hopefully the TSBs were taken care of before you picked it up. You might want to ask your dealer. Oh yeah, congrats on the black beauty.

Yup. Ditto. Hey, welcome aboard and congrats on increasing your smile factor. Always nice to have happier drivers on the road.

Congrats and welcome to the VTEC Dimension (in another 600 miles, that is). Great color choice.

Black, in my opinion is the most agressive looking S, especially when it is clean, although I have a Black Accord, and it is tough to clean....

I ended up getting it out the door ( with taxes etc...) for 33,800. It had 12 miles on it when I received it, so I was pretty happy...

It's funny 'cause the first thing I think about is my s2000 when I wake up...does that make me obsessed?

But anyways I love this car, and I think it is the best thing I have bought in a long time....

I believe that the TSB's only applied to those cars that were manufactured through June 2002. I think the vin # affects those through the 6XXX's. I read that somewhere on this forum. I remembered that because I purchased mine a couple of days before you and felt relieved when I saw a post on the TSB's and which cars they affected.

Go to the Honda web site, www.honda.com and register as an owner. After you input your vin you will be told of any recalls.
