Recently joined member named aran(Aran) was gratious enough to come down at my place to grant my wish which was to see the yellow S2K in person. Aran was very friendly and great to talk to and I can easily see how enthusiastic he was with his S2K.
It was great to see the yellow one in person at last, and it looked fantastic!
And the smell of new interior, ahhh....
I have forgotten how it smelled so nice.
Alan's low-down about the car was very minor and expressed to me how much he liked the car and the best of all, he got his car the way he wanted without waiting and paying just little over msrp!!
It was so nice to meet with another enthusiastic owner locally and I wished we extend our mini meet with a drive together around the town but it was cut short by increasingly colder windy, wet weather.
I can't wait for a meet in DC, MD, VA when the weather warms up.

Check out the pics, sorry if these belongs to picture gallery forum.
And sorry about the big pictures.

Few more at as well as bigger pictures) http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?...58391&a=9771118

Well, our short meet was great and I thank Aran for dropping by to grant my wish.
Aran let's keep in touch and hope to meet with you again soon.

*sorry Aran that I got your name wrong first.

Randy,

Wow ... thanks for posting the pictures, they turned out great! I wish the temperature wasn't dropping so fast at the end of the day so that we could have had more time to look at each other's cars. Randy has made many modifications to his beautiful silver with red interior S2000 - it is truly unique. Hopefully on a nicer day we can take them both out for a ride.

Aran

Very nice - both cars, and the pics.

Alan...lose that tacky temp plate - please!
BTW, if you haven't already been warned about it yet...watch out when parking the S2K head on to the curb, the front end is not very forgiving - especially when you're faced with those concrete blocks or high curbs.

Please quit posting pictures of yellow S2K's! It makes me want to trade my Silver/Red every time I see a picture.

Great looking car Aran, and welcome to the owners circle. Are you going to mod it like Randy's?

Great pictures, I drove around all day today despite the crappy MD weather. Randy, I live in Silver Spring but work out in McLean, perhaps we could get together sometime too.

Yeah you should have told me about the front end when I picked mine up in Seattle. 2 blocks away I scraped the front end at the gas station. DOH!

At least it's on the bottom where no one will see it. :|

p.s. I always think that blurred out backgrounds always gives pictures a very "minature model" type feel. It'll make a great advertisement for Tamiya.
