Finally! Its Time!
Seriously, can't everyone get along?
BasDa$$rIo, if you want the car, get it, you'll love it. I got mine at 21 (not as young, still young) and it's the best thing I ever did, I love it to death, take excellent care of it, but it is important to understand how it drives, so be careful until you know it well. Oh yeah, don't rub things in people's faces, it's not nice and everyone on this board is relatively well off and has their own stook, so no one's gonna drool (my 2 cents
As far as what to get, I agree to stay away from all factory options and get them here, plus you may decide you want aftermarket parts instead (Amuse lip?) etc. Same with stereo, and just about everything else. Beware of BS stuff like "undercoating." Don't emphasize your enthusiasm to the saleman- be ready to walk away 2 or 3 times if you need to. I think cash will still give you some bargaining power...also know the value of the car and know more about it than the dealer. That all being said- ENJOY!!!! (carefullly though).
Everyone who's hating, let him decide what to do with his money- just cuz you have an S doesn't mean you're in an exclusive club and can keep people from getting in- think about how much you enjoy your car - and spread the love. And everyone needs to stop bragging about how rich you are, seriously.

This thread got me angry. I don't know who to yell at.
I think s2ki.com has more douche-bags per capita than virtually any other auto site on the web.
Too bad the S2k is such a great car.
Most of you certainly don't deserve the machine.

I was 17 turning 18 when I bought my s2000. The dealership definitely didn't take me serious when I was looking at the car. I was even told I couldn't afford it. I guess that's an understandable thing though, a lot of kids must be BSing about buying the car to get a test drive or what not. Anyways, you'll probably have to show the green (or equivalent) before the dealership takes you serious (at least in my case). I even had to put a down payment on the car before I could test drive it. Good luck.
There are dealers who will sell for $30,995 - Costco member price. Don't pay more than that. Rick's Signature Accessories will also meet that price. www.ricks2k.com
Hi BaDa$$rIo,
S2k_zonie makes some good points here, he says:

Make sure you know the car's value BEFORE you go, including invoice and what they are selling for.
