Default Finally, my first mod

First I would like to thank jurgento for the exhaust, ultra speedy service and bullet proof packing.

Also, thanks to all the fine members of S2KI who took time to document and photograph their installations to share with us. This install was quick and done with no suprises. I had thought that my crawlin' under the car days were gone.

Top down, the sound is perfect. Deep and not obnoxious. The gas pedal is like a volume control. Cruising, it is not much louder than stock. Put your foot in it and, hello.

Top up at WOT, is almost too loud for my ears. I'll have to take an extended trip to see how that plays out. It is so quiet at cruising throttle openings that it should be OK.

with the top up, the plastic panel behind the seats doesn't have the folds of the top to keep sounds deadened there. that panel is a known source of sounds that enter the passenger compartment. if you put some simple sound deadening under it (like dynamat or similar), you might find the sound controlled somewhat.

$.02

p.s.-- for a first mod, that's pretty hardcore to go straight to the full titanium single exhaust.

Man that thing looks sweet! I just got an S2000 and ordered the Amuse R1 Titan also. I ordered mine without the resonator so I am expecting it to be loud at WOT.

I had an Amuse exhaust on an RSX and the workmanship is just top notch on those things.

The worst part is how long it takes to get here!

I had that version long too ago. Now I have the R1 Titan without resonator and love it.

Congrats on the purchase!
