Welcome, Gabe! Congrats on the S. I also notice you've made a wise selection with color, by the way!

I was debating forever on getting an S2000 or a WRX around Sept of last year. Finally, practicality talked me into getting the WRX. I traded my 98 Prelude in on the WRX. I was dissapointed, period. Added a boost controller and raped the hell out of the WRX. I was happpy as hell then just with the peformance, but not so much the fun factor. It was just too easy to get that car sideways and recover. Did it a thousand times. Then I slammed a curve almost a year after I bought it. Dec 1st I rolled it after hitting a tree at around 70. Main problem with the WRX was the lack of connection with the road. I learned to trust the mechanics of the front, center and rear diff. But, in both wrecks, the center diff did not transfer power to the rears when I was understeering towards the curve. Hand fisted driver inputs did nothing, when they worked time and again before (turned the car). Well, I left the WRX and the WRX community being the fastest, craziest, and now in some eyes most retarded owner to date. The WRX was a good car. But it was not consistent. Back in the Honda camp!

The S2000 will make me concentrate and not rest on my you know whats...

Congrats on your car upgrade...but did you check to see what your ins. company is going to do to your rates after two crashes in a year? Hopefully they'll include a tube of KY Jelly w/ the bill!

Fastest WRX? Hmmmm... don't think so. I know many other people pulling faster than 13.7s and will beat you on LimeCreek.

Chris, I dunno if I would consider it an upgrade hahahaha

Just playing around, so nobody get their panties in an uproar.

I don't. The only one who could keep up in our runs was Dan and he's in Arizona now... Probably never will find out now though. I'm banned from them there roads by the better half. hehe

Congratulations! Welcome to the club. Great choice! I don't suppose that the handling of the WRX vs. the S2000 would be very similar. I'll be really interested to hear how you feel about the car after owning it for a while. Keep us posted!
