I've been researching and posting here for a month or so, and after a month of waiting, we finally picked up our 2001 spa yellow S2000. We purchased it in SF Cali. from a very close friend and drove it home to WI. Let me say, we couldn;t be happier with our purchase. AUdio system is in the works and the car will see autocross action soon. Just wanted to share, I'll post pics. when we get them ready from our trip.

Welcome Wes! I have an '01 yellow too, and I live just south of you. I happpened to see two yellows during my commute today: one northbound 294 about 9:00 a.m., and another near Gurnee, IL at 12:30 pm.

As for not going VTEC. I am in the process of turbocharging my 200SX mod car, so I guess I'll have to try boost and VTEC.
