Firefox Personas
The personas are nice, but I find they don't integrate well with the menu text and navigation buttons. I've been using an add-on theme instead for Firefox. It changes the color of the buttons and adds a background to the drop-down menus, as well as a few other nifty visual tricks. When I tried switching to some of the personas, I found many were too obtrusive to the eyes, not to mention the fact the images were cut off when tabs weren't open or if you choose not to use the bookmarks toolbar. I make no guarantees since I'm not sure what type of code is involved, but if there's any interest I'd be willing to give making a full-fledged s2000 theme a shot.
EDIT: Also, for those of you using Chrome: Don't. Not to sound paranoid, but Google is using their browser to record your surfing habits to augment their search rankings and algorithm. If you value your privacy, you're better off with Firefox.

FYI; so what search engine do you use? Do you go to sites with ads by google? Because they all do that as well.... I mean, every search engine that is.
Although Google does fight to keep their information private, they still collect it in ways they shouldn't. One good example of this is that their streetview camera cars were collecting the private wifi data of the homes they photographed. They are very close to making a wrong step, but I won't deny that they are better than many other companies right now.
As far as my search engine of choice goes, I actually use both Google and Bing. The ads are the main reason I'm concerned with Google's practices. To make a long story short, as you can tell by my account info, I don't own an s2000 yet. Because I'm a college student, it's fairly difficult for me to work enough or even get a job that would allow me to afford a car like this. So I've begun creating websites and monetizing them using Google's Adsense. Because most people use Google for searches, I must rely on them both to bring me traffic and write my paycheck. The data they receive from things like Chrome or their Site Analytics tool have a negative impact on my income and make it much more difficult for individuals to compete with the big players like Amazon, regardless of site content and quality. I find it very similar to the beginnings of the Net Neutrality debate several years ago. If we give Google what is essentially complete control of the internet, it's all too easy for it to result in a negative user experience.
