Default first bird drop on my car

thankfully, HUGE one dropped on the windshield,
the other, small one that didn't make any mark, landed on the trunk.

Hey guys, don't take bird droppings lightly - a friend of mine has a Ford Expedition and I saw a mark on his hood that looked like someone used a knife to scrape away his paint (it was all the way down to the bare steel!). I asked him what happened and he told me it was from bird crap. It was only on his paint for about 6 hours before he washed it off. It must have been a combination of what the bird ate and the Texas sun, but it looked nasty.

True enough. I have some that I noticed last night on the plastic trim between the hood and windshield. It couldnt have been on there but for a couple days and not in the sun. It will NOT come off!
What do you folks suggest I try to get this nuclear waste off my baby?

My first experience was mid summer with the top down. It was more of a cluster bomb experience under a flock of birds. It was like I was being strafed. All in less than half a second, bam, bam, bam bam four hits on the hood. Pop, pop, pop three hits on the windshield then the last one hits the edge of the trim on the top of the windshiled and sprays back into my face. My forehead and sunglasses were speckled. It came in a instant and I had no time to react. All I could do was laugh and be glad no one around me saw it happen. Fortunately, no hits in the interior. It all washed off without problems.

It's time to take up bird hunting!
