I have no urge to jump in the 4Runner at all. Guess I will when I go to the hardware store this weekend.

NICE! Hardtop completes the look of the car. I wish it came in a coupe version,

I always enjoy these new owner threads. I remember the feeling well - I honestly don't think it's diminished one bit (and may have actually bloomed as I became more familiar with the car). I have to agree with TougeS2K - not many other cars have the same 'feel'. It's an amazing machine and it looks fantastic in so many different forms. I love the way it looks with the hardtop - simply gorgeous. That 'coupe' works for me as well - reminds me a bit of the Opel GT from many moons ago. As much as I enjoy driving without the roof, I think I'd dig having this car as a proper coupe (wouldn't have the rattle that accompanies the hardtop, but I'm really not complaining).

Iron Chef - congratulations and enjoy!

Cool to hear. I remember when I first got my S. First thing I actually noticed was the blind spots, how small it is inside, and how mechanically loud it is. I loved it. I remember just sitting in the car in the garage, just getting a feel for everything.

To this day I still look back at the car as I walk away.

I have the suzuka blue as well. After a year of owning it, I still look forward to driving it whenever I get the chance. I love the sound of the vtec kicking in as well. Good choice on the color as well.

So nice it came with a hardtop. It looks really good on there. I have pretty much the same car as you aside from the hardtop and right now your car is really starting to convince me that I need one lol. enjoy the ride and be sure to give yourself some time as you progress with your skills behind the wheel and pick up on the cars quirkyness. It can catch you by surprise if you're not ready for it.

I agree, I absolutely love this car. Just this past Saturday I had a track day at Harris hill raceway, beat the shit out of her on that roadcourse and then took her for a 250 mile drive to two different cities with absolutely no hiccups or problems. The car is awesome, I try and clean her every weekend, its quite the machine.

I have the same car, minus the hardtop. That definitely completes the look of the car!

Yeah I really lucked out with the car coming with the hardtop. I was wondering if it would be more of a pain then it's worth but no doubt it really makes the car. The car is a 2002 and looks almost brand new. I am trying to be very careful not to get too carried away in the on-ramps and off-ramps so I don't lose the rear end out from underneath me. I think I need to do some autoX so I can see where it's limits are.

No autoX or tracks within ~200 miles of where I live.... makes me sad
