Default First door ding by kid of friend... :(

Man,

I just saw my baby get door dinged the first time by the passenger door of my friend's wife car, parked next to my stook, when his kid (2 or 3) was playing with the doors...

The kid managed to unlock the passenger side door and *BAM*

Djiez... What to do...

Make the kid pay for it. Learn him some responsibility early.

Your friend owes you for damages. If he doesn't want to pay, then he's not that good a friend.

Depends on how good a friend he is.

I would ask the friend for the money for repairs. Its the right thing for them to do. PDR might be your best bet if the paint isn't damaged. This car is pretty easy to remove dings from!

Yes, your friend should accept the responsibilty of paying for the repairs. If the paint is not broken, then it's easy to do paintless dent repair...(PDR)...and it shouldn't cost more than 100 bucks.

Your friend should offer to pay for this...if he doesn't, kidnap the guilty little curtain crawler and hold him hostage until the repairs are met with your satisfaction...

Then again, I'm your personal responsibility kind of guy...

I think is this was to happen to me I'd probably pay for it. After all it was an accident and say you'll pay for it... if your friend doesn't offer to pay for it after you say you will.. then take a sledge hammer and take out their doors.. j/k.. if they dont offer to pay for it then you know how good of a friend they are..

If they are good sport, the kids' parents should offer to pay for the repair...I would do the same thing if my kids did that. Of course, I will not feed my kids after that...j/k

You should get more than enough for the kid on ebay to buy a new Stook.

Have the kid mow your lawn for the rest of the summer

Its bound to happen sometime. At least you know who did it and that it was not on purpose.
