Congrats! All of us have anxiously been awaiting the reciept of your car. It's raining here also, so after the S2000 happy hour tonite, I can concentrate on installing my new fabulous leather console cover, courtesy of RH!

I've put a few more miles on since last night and it's a beautiful, if not cool, day, so the top has been down.

I love driving this car! It envelops you, kind of like a high-performance cacoon. If I didn't have so much work today in the office, I'd be out on the roads. But I do have a 120 mile trip up to Delaware and back tomorrow.

Rick,

You might want to check out the rear window tube found at www.miata.com (I think that's the address). I got one and, other than being a pain in the butt to put it in and take it out when putting the top down and up, it sure keeps the wrinkles out of the window. I think I paid around $30.00 with S & H. I think someone found one cheaper somewhere else.

Congratulations Rick!

This day will go down as a dark day in bovine history. I can see it now, on a overcast day in mid-November 2000, a large percentage of the bovine population disappeared from the face of the earth. They were later found huddled in caves and generally avoiding human contact.

Rumors have spread that Rick has discovered Silver leather. Cows, hide your babies.

By all means, please post pics of you and your S2K! Happy, happy!

Congrats Rick. You're still a VTEC virgin though. I'm sure it won't be long till you've broken her in.

I must agree with Greg. Red is the best color for the car.

Moleman,

I already had that tube and I've used it all day (the top's been down, even 40 degree evening weather -- this car is toasty warm with the heater at full bore).

The handling of this car is superb, and the gearbox is pure heaven. Having driven the car under 6000 rpm all day, I was surprised at how quick it is even without VTEC. I can't imagine what it's like above 6000.

I'm in love!

My wife and I are driving up to Wilmington for the Fabrege exhibit at the Riverfront museum. Don't think that's too close to Salisbury, or is it?
