After doing the Pines to Palms pre-run with some guys that had exhausts on their cars, I decided to visit Spugen for the first time to get my first mod for my 2 week old S2K. Nathan and Duc at Spugen told me about the wide variety of options for their exhaust systems, anything from loud to mild is available because they can custom build it on-site. I decided on an axle-back exhaust with oval SS mufflers and oval tips. The Spugen staff worked hard for a few hours custom fitting it to my car, their attention to detail is very impressive. Needless to say I was anxious to fire it up for the first time. Nathan handed me the keys for a test drive, and I came back with a big smile on my face. After driving about 50 miles to the America's Tire Center BBQ and back home, I can report that the new exhaust transforms the car, it now has a nice deep growl when I get on the throttle, but not too loud. It's definitely a big plus to the driving experience.

Thanks go out to the Spugen staff!

Looks very nice!

When you say "axle back" do you mean that they just put the mufflers on the stock Y-pipe?
