1) stereo: big improvement on a daily driver
2) Ricks Shift knob : shortens the throw and a much better fit fit
3) exhaust: well you know
4) wheels: ditto

"Performance oriented." What kind of performance? Street? Road course? Dragstrip? AutoX? Dyno racing? Impressive "mod list"?

For the track, my mods in the order I installed them, are:

brake fluid upgrade
brake pads upgrade
Modifry redline beeper
brake ducting
anti-bumpsteer kit

The first three would be enough to easily get you through your first 15-20 track days before you found any real limits to the car.

Now I would say better brake pads, fluids and a swaybar.
