For everyone looking for the explanation of the ticket here is the copy from Mid-Atlantic Forum where VTECnology explained.

"The convoy from the northeast (aka "Group Spar. . . nevermind that) got pulled over somewhere in BFE North Cacalacky. Officer Billy Bob Fat Balls Redneck decided to pull over the whole convoy of 13 cars. He says he got Rick on Radar at 82(?) mph. By his logic he wrote the entire group a ticket for 70 mph. When I asked him if he had us all on radar he said "no I estimated everyone else since ya'll was followin' that guy up front. Now I don't know how fast most people were going. I do know that Wingman (back of the pack), myself (second to last), and someone in front of me I forget who were only doing about 60 maybe 62 mph at the time. The front of the pack was quite a ways in front of us. It's just kind of the sore spot of the trip. "

I can bet that after the group ticket write off, the officer Bob went home early.
That really sucks!

 

i'd also like to give airgate at big thank you for organizing a great event. it was great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones. the route was pretty good with moments of "spirited" driving. thanks to the sponsors for the great gifts. hopefully we can make this an annual event.
