Default First post, please read.

Hi, I am just writing to all of you becuase I need to know where I can find a front clip of an S2000, and many man parts for it. Anything you can think of. On January 8th my best friend Hashem Malick died in a car accident with his s2000. He was going to fast around a curb, the car hit a guarg rail, became airborn and hit a utility pole and 2 trees. His screen name here was sliimhashe. As a tribute to him, a few friends and I are putting together funds, and wrench time and are going to fix his car. We all made an agreement that if we go in our cars that we would want them fixed. I just need to know where I could get parts, preferably a front clip, and how much it would cost. We are putting money together but we are only 19 years old so the cheaper the better. I know s2k parts are very expensive so this will def be a time consuming project. I also just wanted to remind everyone to drive carefully. Its, a beautiful car but as proven used wrecklessly it can be deadly. Thank you for reading this and any info would be great.

HNM S2K,

I am very sorry for the loss of your friend.

You might try finding a car that was wrecked in the rear and try combining the two cars. I think this will be much less expensive than buying all the parts needed to rebuild the car.

Good luck.

wow, i remember hearing about this in the New-England forum. One of our fellow members posted the atricle. Sorry to hear about your friend but i think the fixing of his car is a great tribute to him as well as a good reminder to keep it safe out there.
By the way, post in the NE forum. There a few local guys that could give you more direction if you want parts locally. And also to say hello to the group

My heartfelt condolences. It is very difficult to lose a friend; perhaps even more so when we are young and feeling immortal. My thoughts are with you and your other friends, and I hope you keep going with your tribute to your lost friend.

do yourself a favor, sell the car. It can only serve as a killing tool in the hand of the irresponsible teenagers.

TwistedS2k, I dont think it's your car thats twisted, more like your head. That's a very nice thing to say to someone that just learned that lesson the hard way. Do yourself a favor and STFU. Thanks, and I'm sorry about your loses HNM. Best of Luck with the car and I'll keep my ears open for the requested parts.
