It gave me something like 8 whp on the dyno for 200 bucks. Pretty good bang for the buck mod.

For the doubter and hater questioning whether I have an S2000:
I bought my S2000 2004 used. The dead pedal was missing. Don't ask me why but it was. Infinity Kappa Seri 60.7cs 6-1/2" two-way component system w/tweeters. Fit on the door panels. Great sound! I have two 10" Kickers in the back being pushed by a Rockford Fosgate 1000w amp and Sony Xplode. Pioneer head-unit.
Any other questions?

I'm considering taking out the speakers b/c of the weight. The sound is great and brings attention when I'm rollin' down the strip.

I'm not hating at all. I wrongly assumed that you purchased your car new.

And for the record, an Infinti Kappa component system is very different from "6x9's".

Have fun with the car, and good luck with your mods.

Besides missing a dead pedal, I need to buy an owner's manual. On ebay, I just bid on a 2005 owner's manual $15. The ebay seller claims the 2005 owner's manual claims is the same as the 2004 and 2003 owners' manuals. Would you agree? The difference in price is $60 otherwise I would buy it new.

that's what I was hoping you were going to say. How did you know what to tune? Are there some recommended settings somewhere?

I've heard there is a plug-n-play harness for the VAFC....where can I find that?

I tried a search and came up with nothing

thanks

where did you fit 6x9's?

For me....

1) INJEN CAI
2) Mr. Clean auto-dry kit
3) Alpine HU
4) Blaupunkt ODCa660 components
5) Clarion SW10x sub and infinity 7520a amp

Next......

JL 300/4 amp or Memphis 3004 amp for mids and highs

I think you got an abused S2000. It is very hard to believe that a good owner would have these missing from about one year old S2000: dead pedal, floormat and owner manual.

Also, Infinity Kappa 60.7cs is a 6-1/2" two-way component system, not 6"x9"
