The first to sight an S2k from a plane?

It looks very aerodynamic, how fast does it go, about 500 mph

The best thing about the Lear 60 is the climb rate. We've done 12000 fpm down low when we were light. You have to get in a fighter jet to better that.
is that a Bombardier Learjet? i heard that plane is supposed to be awesome. but Bombardier jet skis suck. we had 2 and they had so many problems. the reason we had to have 2 was to be able to go out on the water to get the other one if it was stranded! too bad my family left the jet skiing scene before Honda's turbo jet ski hit the market =[

I'm soo jaleous
! Got a ride in a lear 35 a few years back, and yes, what startled me was the rate of climb. A far cry from any piston singles and twins I used to fly! ( But of course it's like comparing apples to oranges.) This plane seemed to be so nimble! If I am not wrong, was the original Learjet's design based on a fighter?

I saw an S2K from Reagan DC airport on my way back to FL last week, berlina black couldn't tell AP1 or AP2 though, I wanted to tell the pilot to turn around so I could see, but he didn't listen.
