Ladies and Gentlemen, my call finally came in today! Man, was I ever ready to hear my salesman give me the good news. I don't know who on this board said it, but it does feel like waiting for a baby to be delivered.
Anyway, the sales manager told me that there are only three 2001 Yellow S2000s ordered in Palm Beach County to date and I have the first one off the mark. The exclusivity of this moment is mighty sweet.
I don't know about you guys & girls, but purchasing my Miata in 1990, the first year it was in wide production, was as close to buying a legendary automobile on the first kiss of its fame as I have ever gotten. Every other car I've owned was either a plain Jane or was past its prime. With the S2000, I arrive again on the cusp of a legend and boy, is it exciting to be a part of automotive history again.
