Default First turbo incident. Oops. (pics)

Welp, it finally happened. This should just be a 4 dollar fix, but after ragging on it last night pretty hard (5 races back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back) I hit 9125 rpms in 1st, and in 2nd, engine cut out on me real bad.. Nick (pappy) and I were riding and it seemed fine but there was a whistling/chirping sound that Nick picked up.. good ears, bro. Long story short, I blew a bolt off and the gasket ripped itself apart.

Note the missing bolt near the top of this photo. (left of photo = rear of car)

On a side note, I got an advance on my video game I'm working on, so the 'next step' might be a possibility. Pistons, rods and upgraded fuel = more boost more boost more boost. I'll keep you guys informed.

Hey Chris, I'm going to be down in the Tampa area for 4-5 days in March for a class. Any chance I could get a ride in your car so that I can see what I'll be getting myself into in April?

Milo you better bring a video camera! I can't wait until you get yours but I still want to see what a turbo really does.

Kwando, if you want to see a video of Chris's Turbo S2000 in action, there is one of my racing him. It was more of a slaughter....

Just an FYI for anyone who perhaps came across this thread in a search. Issue fixed, final cost, 8 bucks and 30 minutes of work that anyone can do themselves.
